DAVE THE DIVER splits your time between spearfishing in a shifting marine trench and running a sushi restaurant with your haul.

You dive during the day, catching fish and gathering ingredients while managing oxygen, weight and aggressive predators. The seascape rearranges itself each outing, so no two dives follow the same path.

Run the sushi bar

At night you plate up what you caught, hire staff and tweak the menu. A rotating cast of eccentric customers keeps the service phase unpredictable.

Follow the story threads

Three companions with distinct personalities push the narrative forward as you peel back the mysteries of the Blue Hole. Side quests and upgrades fill the gaps between shifts.

Morning radio tips steer your dive and harpoon loadout

Load your save and the game drops you straight onto the boat. The morning radio crackles with a tip about a jellyfish bloom two trenches over — you mark it on the map and kit out your harpoon.

You drop into the Blue Hole. A school of parrotfish drifts past the reef; you line up a shot, reel one in, and spot a tiger shark patrolling the deeper water to the right. The oxygen meter says you have forty seconds. You grab a chunk of copper ore, dodge the shark and surface with fifteen litres left.

Back on deck you phone Bancho. Tonight's special becomes jellyfish sashimi because you netted three on the way up. You set the menu prices, assign your new line cook to the prep station and open the doors. The first customer orders tropical fish sushi — exactly what you're overstocked on.
